Hello!

Not sure if anyone is going to read this blog, but I think it is time someone started it. I see so many blogs about hair, make up, clothes, etc., but I haven't really seen a blog that is dedicated to rockabilly and vintage type events with reviews. I'll also throw out a little bit of my opinion just to make it interesting.

A little bit about me. I'm 43 years old, but a lot of people tell me I look younger. I attribute that to my love of old rockabilly and rock and roll. Sunscreen and not drinking for the last 2 decades might also be responsible. I am married and have 3 children. My oldest is grown and on her own and my younger children are 12 (girl) and 9 (boy).

In 2006 I was inducted into an all girl's social club called the Bombshells, after being friends with some of the members for a few years. I used to promote rockabilly shows here in the south bay and also assisted a couple local clubs book and promote rockabilly shows. I've worked with bands like: Kim Lenz and the Jaguars, The Go Getters, Big Sandy and his Flyrite Boys, Royal Crown Revue, Carlos and the Bandidos, Jack Rabbit Slim, Wayne Hancock, Marti Brom, the Chop Tops and so many more. I will include links to these bands further down in this blog. You can check out my club's website at www.thebombshells.net

Today is the 4th of July so I'm off for family festivities, but I will be posting a review of the Norcal Knockout.
