The first photo was a snapshot, I'm not sure who shot it, of some local boys I know and was taken around 1999 at Paso Robles, during the car show that used to be hosted there. The second photo was a staged professional shot by a famous photographer.

It's interesting to analyse as well isn't it? Jeans were definately baggier than a lot of the guys wear now, I prefer that slightly workwear baggy look myself for jeans on guys!
