I saw that on CNN last night. I was sad to hear the news too. I have a print showing the ad for "His Kind of Woman" (1951) hanging in my house. And like Vintage Christine said, you certainly do Jane proud, Kim!
Just a fun loving, jive dancing, rockabilly music seeking, sassy gal about town. After watching all the vintage "how-to" videos, tutorials, and Blogs, here's a "what to do" and "where to go" blog after you get yourself dolled up. I changed the name of my blog to "The Kim Show" because all my friends tease me and call me "The Kim Show." I feel I am now living up to their expectations by writing this blog.
I love vintage glamour, heels, pretty clothes and dancing to hot music. I love my husband, my kids, and my friends. I also love my vintage wardrobe, confetti lucite, and the dozen or so vintage sunglasses in my collection. I am a bit of a hoarder and someday you may see me on that T.V. show, only instead of dirty dishes, there will be piles of cashmere and bins of rhinestones.
