Well, we really had to work hard this year for the amazing line up. When I say "we" what I mean is Rachelle, who is doing the booking this year.
We had originally booked a double headliner Nick Curran and Roddy Jackson, but last month we got the horrible news that Nick's cancer had returned and he would not be able to play for us. Scrambling, we were really worried we wouldn't be able to book someone equal to Nick.
Rachelle some how was able to find it in the budget, to book the ORIGINAL Planet Rockers!
As for the rest of the line up....the Legendary "Central Valley Fireball" original 1950s recording artist. Roddy was discovered when he was 15 by Sonny Bono and had some big hits in the late 50s.
You can get hotel information at our website, but time is running out to get the Bombshell Special room rate. There is a benefit to getting a room, besides being able to stumble to bed when the show is over....free happy hour drinks from 5-7PM and a free breakfast.
Vending spots are still available, although I think there are only a few left. All the info you need is here: Bombshell's website
Hi Kim! I am so glad you are posting again! I've missed our chats at Time Zone Vintage. I hoped to run into you at Linda's (Park Place) to catch up, but no luck. I am glad that everything is well and you have a great job to enjoy. Those window displays are so beautiful! Good luck with everything, Maria
Just a fun loving, jive dancing, rockabilly music seeking, sassy gal about town. After watching all the vintage "how-to" videos, tutorials, and Blogs, here's a "what to do" and "where to go" blog after you get yourself dolled up. I changed the name of my blog to "The Kim Show" because all my friends tease me and call me "The Kim Show." I feel I am now living up to their expectations by writing this blog.
I love vintage glamour, heels, pretty clothes and dancing to hot music. I love my husband, my kids, and my friends. I also love my vintage wardrobe, confetti lucite, and the dozen or so vintage sunglasses in my collection. I am a bit of a hoarder and someday you may see me on that T.V. show, only instead of dirty dishes, there will be piles of cashmere and bins of rhinestones.
