I'll be hawking vintage at Park Place, not on Park Avenue tomorrow!

That's right. Instead of working at my usual vintage shop, Time Zone Vintage, on Park Avenue, I'll be helping out Linda over at Park Place on Lincoln.

San Jose locals and people from all over the bay know Park Place. Linda has been around for years and I know we have all found treasures at this store. She started sewing as a hobby and now does custom vintage reproductions and costumes. She hits all the estate sales and flea markets collecting vintage fabric. Her creations look authentic and even feel authentic because of the vintage fabrics she uses. The sarong and bolero set I wore to the pool party in Vegas was made by Linda from vintage 40s rayon. She also made the black velvet pencil skirt I wore in the photos in my last post.

You can check out her website here: Park Place

I will work tomorrow and hopefully be bringing home my lovely rattan coffee table that I put on lay away 2 years ago.

Hi Kim!

I agree! Linda's shop is full of treasures and it is hard not to find something there every time I visit!

Here is the blog I mentioned the other day
